CONTROL-Y’all
The current United States government, led by President Trump and his advisors, has a control issue.
The government wants to and feels it needs to control citizens as well as maintain and expand whatever power the U.S. can have over people in rest of the world and all the resources that the world considers valuable.
This is, perhaps, not limited to the U.S. government currently run by Trump. Previous administrations, most recently President Biden, has allowed the government to do some terrible things at home and abroad in the name name of “security” or” democracy” – but always with the intent to control.
In Trump’s first year of his current term, people were mostly concerned about ICE detaining both immigrants and United States citizens, and the the consequences of people protesting ICE policies. These policies are ongoing, and are an effort to intimidate and/or control the domestic population. If people are afraid to protest can steamroll through policy to prevent protest, and quell opposition.
This year – Trump’s second year in office of his second term – really began with some control issues. We’re just a couple weeks after his State of the Union Address – and since the beginning of January the Trump administration has kidnapped the president of Venezuela, killed the Supreme Leader of Iran and began to carpet bomb the country, continue the genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, and began to starve the perpetually blockaded Cuba. Domestically, it has become clear through the Epstein Files that the president has a habit of sexually controlling people – and minors.

The government uses Artificial Intelligence to track citizens and immigrants. Palantir and other companies, have capability to engage in mass monitor and assessment of people and are used to target immigrants and political activists (Palantir is owned by Peter Theil, who has said that “freedom and democracy are incompatible”. … That’s a different story). Palantir is also used by TSA and is at most airports.
On the day that the United States kidnapped Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro from his home, and brought him in handcuffs to New York, Trump said that the U.S. will take control of Venezuelan oil reserves. The decades-long issue not something I have to get into detail about here, but Venezuela believes that the oil belongs to Venezuela. Encouraged by multi-national conglomerates like Chevron, the U.S. backs the idea that the oil belongs to companies. There’s a control issue here.
It’s the same control issue that compelled the United States to begin bombing Iran on February 28. This may have been prompted by Israel attacking Iran, or it may have been that Trump listened to one of his advisors keen on attacking Iran. Netanyahu has been crying wolf for more than twenty-five years that Iran is about to build a nuclear weapon. Whatever the reason, Iran has oil and it’s not controlled by the the people the U.S wants it to be controlled by.
